Happy New Year

It’s a new year and many of you have your heads down with year end close while others are hoping that the job market improves and companies start adding to their headcount. The national unemployment rate is at 10%, but Colorado is holding up much better at 7.5%. Google also has a neat graph that displays the historical unemployment rate.
Indicators are pointing towards a decrease in the unemployment for 2010 and we are seeing that companies are budgeting for a slight increase in headcount. We have already seen an increase in activity during Q4 2009 and this month – most of which are entry level and mid-management.
Hang on – it should be a fun ride this year!
